  • THE RICHMOND CHILDREN FIRST TRAINING FUND SUPPORTS EARLY YEARS PROFESSIONALS

    In 2009-2010, grants were distributed to:

    WORKSHOP-CONFERENCE FUND: GRANTS TO COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

    Make the Connection Facilitator Training (Richmond Family Place) ($ 4,450)
    Three-day facilitator training open and available to all front line staff working with infants birth to two years of age.

    Circles of Caring Conference (Richmond ECE Training Committee) ($ 2,000)
    This conference offer growth opportunities for both senior, experienced, long standing educators as well as new, frontline educators. This is the first joint conference with School Age child care providers, strengthening the continuum of care in Richmond between those in kindergarten and younger and those in Grade 1 and up.
